For Bindi Irwin, a simple day-of birthday post just wouldn't be enough.

Since welcoming her beautiful baby girl, Grace Warrior, last spring, Irwin – the conservationist daughter of beloved wildlife champion Steve Irwin – has taken every chance to show her off.
In fact, she is quite literally counting down the days until Grace’s first birthday, starting with the sweet shot posted over the weekend. Within the caption, Irwin hinted at what we can expect when the birthday actually arrives.
“Can’t believe our beautiful Grace Warrior is almost ONE!" wrote Bindi. "Join us @AustraliaZoo this Friday March 25 for all the celebrations. Kids 14 & under receive free entry. We’re feeding a croc in the Crocoseum. Meet Bluey & Bingo + live performance. Grand opening of Camp Grace. Join the Safari challenge obstacle course. Clay workshop + pot plant planting. Grab a birthday cupcake. For more visit AustraliaZoo.com.au.”
Whew! Can you imagine what this kid’s Sweet 16 party is going to look like?!
The colorful picture in the post could very well be a top selling Hallmark card, with a touch of Irwin family animal love sprinkled in.
In a patch of grass, Grace is dolled up in a blue and white gingham dress with a pink ribbon around her head. She's sitting next to a cake, smiling and holding up the one finger, while flanked by two turtles and an echidna, a kind of spikey anteater. Crikey!
But no worries, these are the Irwins we’re talking about. Little Grace has probably hung out with echidnas 10 times already.
To wit, in January, Bindi, mom Terri, and brother Robert talked with Entertainment Tonight about Grace Warrior’s preternatural connection to wildlife.
“I think she's got that determination that Steve had and that connection with wildlife,” Terri said of her husband, who passed away in 2006. “Because it is weird to see animals just gravitate to her. So she'll go out in the morning in the stroller, and all the kangaroos just gather around her like they're having a meeting."
Bindi added, describing just another day in the life of an Irwin, “Her best friend is an Aldabra tortoise. His name is Igloo and, no joke, he comes up to here on me, like up to my waist. He’s massive and the cutest. When he sees Grace, he runs across his paddock, which is huge. If you're a tortoise, you can't really run very fast, but he does his best, runs across the paddock to see her, and just sits. She tries to pat him, and she just ends up kind of like hitting him on the head.”
