A long held “Friends” mystery may have just been solved!
In Season 10, episode 12 of “Friends” character Phoebe Buffay (Lisa Kudrow) gets married and fans have long wondered just who was her third bridesmaid in the 2003 episode. Two of the three were played by Monica (Courteney Cox) and Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) but the third’s identity was never revealed.
Until now?
Well, TikTok user @therealgregoryj thinks they have cracked the code. In a video posted August 22, the user hits play on a scene from “Friends” season six, episode three where Phoebe reveals to the cast she has a roommate… that they have never met.
“How can you have a roommate that none of us knew about?” Asks Matthew Perry’s character Chandler Bing.
“Maybe because you never listen to anything that I say,” Lisa Kudrow’s Phoebe retorts. She then yells, presumably at the roommate, “Denise!”
Could this roommate be the third bridesmaid?
According to E! News, fans online are thinking along a different route. The other theory making rounds is the third woman is the sister of Mike Hannigan (Paul Rudd) the man Phoebe married. This theory holds some water as on the episode’s IMDb page a third bridesmaid is listed as a character named Bitsy Hannigan and played by Cristine Rose.
The "Friends" fan universe may never know.

Recently, Kudrow appeared on “Late Night With Seth Meyers” and relayed a fun story about her son watching “Friends” for the first time. “I didn’t think anyone in my family like that show,” she jokingly told the host.
