Before they hit it big in Hollywood, actors Jamie Dornan, Andrew Garfield, Eddie Redmayne, and Charlie Cox were part of a tight-knit group of friends. But the first of their crew to make it in the industry was Robert Pattison, whose meteoric rise to fame kicked off after he was cast in the "Twilight" series.

According to Newsweek, Pattison explained, "They were all roommates, and I was kind of the last one invited. I was invited as an afterthought. There'd be like one slice of pizza left, and I'd be like, 'Is there any for me?'"
But Dornan, who has most recently starred in the Oscar-nominated film, "Belfast," remembers a different version of events.
Caught for comment at the Critics’ Choice Awards over the weekend, Dornan explained, "The pity invite? No. I think, with Rob it's always been like, he sort of had success earlier, so we were a bit like, 'Does he really fit in with us?' Because we were not working, and he's working all the time.”
"He did ‘Twilight’ and was suddenly in a different stratosphere than us," said Dornan, "and we've sort of, not caught up, but we all started working more consistently. But yeah, Jesus, we've known each other a long time."
While Pattinson might claim he usually got the last slice of pizza, it seems he got the first text about the evening’s social plans.
Said Dornan to Access Hollywood, "We never left him at home. Why would you leave him at home? He was the good-looking one. He got us all in. He got us all the attention. He was too successful for us early on."
