Kane Brown has made it a goal to be the fittest person in Nashville, but that involves him eating dark leafy greens, which he has never tried… until recently.
LISTEN NOW: Kane Brown chats with Rob + Holly
After seeking inspiration from his security guard’s security guard to be ultra fit, Kane has decided to hit the gym and give new, healthy foods a try. Something he hasn’t always had the luxury of doing with his upbringing.
Kane explained he typically throws anything out that has been touched by lettuce because he believes it “stains” the taste of the food. However, after a few cold ones, and some leftover adrenaline from his show, Kane decided to indulge in some greens that were included in his “after show meal.”
“This is crazy. I actually have a video, I want to show it to you, but I was a little intoxicated, so I won’t show it,” he laughed. “All I eat is chicken and rice, literally [for] breakfast, lunch and dinner…. But I ate it [spinach/kale], and I have a video and it is the funniest thing,” he shared. “It was actually pretty good… I’d never had it before. I guess I just had to be drunk.”

Sounds like Kane is a real wild one under the influence! Forget the fast-food and greasy pizza, Kane wants the dark leafy greens!
Having a great bod isn’t Kane’s only motivation, he also feels his body getting “old,” as he experiences new joint pain he shared, and wants to take good care of himself so he can be a present father for his daughters. “I was walking up the stairs and my knees started hurting, I was like, ‘I’m getting old!’” He laughed. “My knees have never hurt before, so…”
At 28-years-old we don’t think Kane has too much to worry about, but nothing wrong with getting ahead of the curve!
