Rebel Wilson took the gold for party outfits over the weekend. Literally.

As People reported, the actress posted some cheery clips of fireworks and friends to her Instagram Story, but it was some rooftop shots of her in sparkling party attire that really grabbed eyes.

Wilson, 41, stands on a seat cushion wrapped tight in a stunning gold Burberry dress, high heeled pumps, drink in hand, and a pool right behind her. The dress is so fab at first you don’t notice the transparent glass that stands between her and a wobbly fall into that pool.

The "Pitch Perfect" star celebrated the almost-dive into the new year back in her home country of Australia at a get-together in Sydney, as she declared in the caption: "Starting the New Year off strong! HAPPY NEW YEAR you legends, love from downunder!"

Wilson had cause to celebrate -- it was a busy year for her, especially online.

She seemed to keep a near weekly update going with social media posts, usually centered on her enjoying life in a sunny locale and showing off her newly slimmed-down figure.

Not to mention, as she told People last month, she is very single, and hinted at a date-filled summer. "I was doing a thing called 'Hot Girl Summer,’ she said. “I heard about it in rap songs, and I was like, 'This sounds fun.’ [But] it wasn't really me. I'm a bit more of a conservative girl, normally."

Earlier in 2021, after having split from Jacob Busch not four months after she announced the pairing on Instagram, Wilson tried the dating app game, but has since deleted her profile.

"From every relationship,” she said, “you learn stuff all about yourself and what you're looking for. I haven't quite met my match just yet, but here's hoping."

2020 was Wilson’s self-proclaimed “year of health,” wherein the actress lost 80 pounds, and has since kept it off during 2021, something she wasn’t quite sure she could accomplish.

"I thought I was the person that [would] never do it," Wilson admitted. "Like, yeah, I can lose a few pounds if I try really hard one week and be really strict with myself, but then I'll always gain it back. So I never thought that I could successfully do it."

"Last year, I -- for the first time ever -- prioritized my health," she continued. "And even though that was my 40th year, I was just like, it's never too late to improve yourself or to improve your health. I shouldn't feel sad or beat up on myself because of that. I should just feel proud of myself for actually doing it."
