BELLEVILLE, Ill. (KMOX) - A 15-year-old has been charged in connection with a gun found at Belleville West High School this week. The student reportedly brought the loaded weapon to school Monday in his backpack and left it in his gym locker during class. When he returned, the gun was gone.
He faces four weapons charges, including unlawful use of a weapon on school grounds. He is being held in juvenile detention pending further court proceedings.
