A Washington baker is "not sorry" for decorating a "build that wall" Valentine's Day cookie saying that "people should lighten up."
"Am I supposed to be quiet because I can't write what I want, or I can only write what they want or makes them happy?” baker Ken Bellingham said in a statement to
KOMO who reports the baker was 'unapologizing' for the incident.
Ken Bellingham of Edmonds Bakery says he made a "Build that Wall" Valentine's cookie as a joke. But some aren't laughing - hear from both sides tonight on @KING5Seattle pic.twitter.com/1YcR2VrS56

January 27, 2019 Bellingham's statement went on to say those who disagree "can write whatever they want on their own cookie.”
The cookie, singular, started out as one of many Bellingham keeps in a display case that feature other "risque" phrases. Something he does to be funny.
Since the backlash, however, Bellingham has started producing "build that wall" cookies for purchase and he says his Edmonds Bakery has been inundated with business.
But the real kicker is that Bellingham says he doesn't necessarily support building a wall along the US-Mexico border.
