BALLWIN, Mo. (KMOX) - When a Ballwin resident could not get ahold of their cartaker for help – a police officer stepped in as a personal chef.
The Ballwin Police Department shared the story with a photo on Facebook, saying "As always, if you need us, we will be there."
Police say Officer Rogers responded to the call that a resident couldn't get ahold of their cartaker. The officer went above and beyond to make a "quasi-delicious breakfast spread of fluffed scrambled eggs with a side of toasted white bread and jam."
Although the fire department are the ones known as better cooks, says Ballwin Police, the citizen was lucky Officer Rogers knew his way around the kitchen.
Other topics in Ballwin Police's weekly roundup include a DWI suspect involved in a crash that thankfully ended without life-threatening injuries, a manhunt for a "motorized wheelchair bandit" and a man who was "self-snitching".
