COLLINSVILLE, Ill. (KMOX) - Police say the men who robbed a Collinsville bank Saturday morning may be travelling in a newer model yellow Camaro, and they should be considered armed and dangerous.

The heist happened before the GCS Credit Union branch on Vandalia opened to the public.

Officers say the suspects followed an employee inside, then filled up a duffel bag with cash while displaying handguns. Several employees were held at gunpoint until the suspects ran out of the bank.

Police issued this description of the suspects:

One is a black male 5'8" to 5'10" tall with a thin build and wearing black Adidas pants, black Nike Air shoes, and a black hooded sweatshirt.

The other is a black male 5'10" to 6'0" with a heavy build and wearing black pants, black shoes, and a black hooded sweatshirt.

Anyone with information on the crime or suspects is asked to call Crimestoppers at 866-371-8477.
