BOSTON (KMOX) - St. Louis Blues goalie Jordan Binnington is becoming a bit of a legend thanks to his flatliner demeanor. And he continued it in the postgame interview on KMOX after the Game 2 overtime win in Boston, Wednesday night.
Our broadcasters, Chris Kerber and Joey Vitale tried to get even the slightest bit of an emotional response from the 25-year-old – after he helped secure the first Stanely Cup Final win the franchise history. One of Binnington's answers was just a perfectly blunt answer that can be categorized as classic Binner.
Kerber: Jordan, what is it like inside the dressing room during an overtime intermission?
Binnington: The boys are just throwing food down, in their mouth and you know, just saying to work hard and stick to the team game and it will come.
