ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Adam Wainwright's family officially got a little bigger today. He and his wife Jenny completed the adoption process for their first son, Caleb Adam Wainwright.
"I went and got my little boy and I brought him into the clubhouse," Wainwright told MLB.com. "Even though he can probably barely see across the room right now -- couldn’t see hardly in front of his face probably a couple weeks ago -- it was cool to walk him through there, like, ‘Yep, yeah, this is what happens after games that you win.' I got to introduce him to everybody. That was pretty neat."
"We've got the room. We've got the love."Shortly after finalizing the adoption of Caleb Adam Wainwright on Thursday, #STLCards pitcher Adam Wainwright spoke exclusively to @MLB and @stltoday about the family's adoption journey. Here's their story: https://t.co/38l9SE18pz pic.twitter.com/QdHdNgpwvE
