ST. LOUIS (KMOX) — In light of the Sharks' controversial 5-4 win over the Blues Wednesday night a Chesterfield man has set up a GoFundMe page in spite of a missed call by an NHL referee.
Many assert the loss was due to an illegal hand pass, which the NHL deems "non-reviewable."
John Randall created the GoFundMe a day after Game 3 of the NHL Western Conference final to raise $7,000 for the St. Louis Society for the Blind and Visually Impaired. As of 3 p.m. Friday, the campaign has raise over $4,100.
While St. Louis may be extremely frustrated, perhaps some charity can come of it.
The fourth out of a possible seven-game series takes place Friday night in St. Louis.
