Like many consumers, you may personally get dozens and dozens of ads from your favorite stores through email.
Matt Valites, Threat Research Manager for Cisco Talos says hackers are using that to their advantage. "If you actually look at those emails you might see it's just a little bit off. Even though it may use the actual brand's logo if you click on the link or whatever they're offering, it might take you to a malicious website."
Valites says an easy way to avoid malicious links nis to simply use your web browser to go to the store's main site to confirm a deal.
