ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - It looks like the Dallas Stars are doing everything they can to keep St. Louis Blues fans out of their building for Round 2 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

A Blues fan attempting to buy tickets noticed that Ticketmaster, the official ticket provider for the entire NHL, has barred fans who don't live in certain states from buying tickets to Stars playoff games. If you try to buy tickets with a credit card registered to an address that's not in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma or New Mexico – you won't be able to buy a ticket.

A screenshot of the note was posted on Facebook by the fan the day after the Stars cliched their spot in the next round:

If you go to Ticketmaster and try to buy tickets to Game 3, Game 4 or Game 6 in Dallas, you'll see this note:

"Please Note: ***VERY IMPORTANT !! *** Sales to the Dallas Stars 2019 Home Playoff Games at American Airlines Center, will be restricted to residents of Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico. Residency will be based on credit card billing address. Orders by residents outside of this area will be canceled without notice and refunds given."

But if you want to get to the game in Dallas, you more than likely will be able to get tickets. Many seats are going to end up on secondary markets like StubHub where any fan will be able to buy tickets.

The 2nd Round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs begins tonight at 8:30 p.m. and you can hear it on KMOX.
