ST. LOUIS (KMXO) - Das Bevo is closing its restaurant to focus on hosting events.
The former Bevo Mill in south St. Louis reopened in 2017 as both a restaurant and event space, but a spokeswoman told the Riverfront Times the neighborhood couldn't support a weekday lunch and dinner crowd – although they did well on weekends.
A message on the Das Bevo Facebook page says they are "going to be focusing on what has been working, our public and private events."
The outdoor Biergarten will open back up when the weather is warmer and plan to feature live music and local food trucks.
They plan to be open at least Thursday through Saturday. This Saturday, Kim Massie performs while the Stellar Hog brings in food.
