JUPITER, Fla. (KMOX) -- Cardinals pitcher Carlos Martinez wore a sling on his arm after receiving a platelet-rich plasma injection for his right shoulder, a treatment that will require additional time away from throwing. Martinez will be re-evaluated in two weeks, according to the club, validating an earlier diagnosis that the two-time All-Star needs to strengthen muscles in the shoulder.
