The ruling from the Monday morning hearing was first reported by David Hunn of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, who reports payouts will begin as early as December in the lawsuit against the Rams. Judge Stephen N. Limbaugh Jr. gave the approval.
Depending on the number of former PSL owners who apply for refunds online, the Rams could be required to pay up to $24 millions in settlements. Former PSL holders will need to apply at www.RamsPSLClassActionSettlement.com before Aug. 23.

Attorney Rick Cornfeld tells KMOX a judge will make final decision on if the ruling is "fair, reasonable and provides adequate compensation for their claims."
He says there have been no timely objections to the settlement thus far and 43-percent of PSL holders covered by the lawsuit have been approved for payouts, but he hopes more claims are filed by the Aug. 23 deadline.
The class-action suit was filed on behalf of thousands of fans who bought PSLs that were good for 30 seasons, which was the length of the lease at the St. Louis stadium formerly known as the Edward Jones Dome. Rams owner Stan Kroenke took the team to California in 2016 after 21 seasons in St. Louis.
The amount each PSL holder will receive will depend on the value of the PSL, which ranged from $250 to $4,500, based on the location of the seat.
