ST. CHARLES, Mo. (KMOX) - A former Francis Howell North High School teacher is facing sex charges.
Matthew Howard, 29, of St. Charles is charged with three counts of sexual contact with a female student.
St. Charles Police received information back in March about the allegations against Howard and launched the investigation. Police say the incident occurred in a residential area of St. Charles, in the 1000 block of 6th Street, in December of 2018.
On March 14, Francis Howell School District sent an alert to parents about an investigation into a case of a district employee allegedly having inappropriate contact with a Francis Howell North student.
KMOX contacted police who told us it's too early in the investigation to release any information at that time.
