HILLSBORO, Mo. (KMOX) - A measles case has been confirmed in Jefferson County.

The health department says its staff is working directly with the case and is working to identify potential contacts to make arrangements for follow up immunizations and care if necessary.

Officials say the case is associated with a previously identified out of state confirmed case of measles acquired while traveling.
