JEFFERSON COUNTY, Mo. (KMOX) - A dog found dumped in a ditch with his mouth and legs duct-taped together is healing, and will soon be reunited with his owner.

February 15, 2019 A deputy found the dog while on patrol Saturday morning in the area of Old State Road M and Schneider Road. Police say it had been in the ditch for about 12 hours.

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office says Mahn Funeral Home stepped up and paid for all his treatment, and Flick is heading home today.
