ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - One of the best rivalries in sports is heating up with a little offseason feud. St. Louis Cardinals players John Brebbia and Yadier Molina had their adopted city's back after Chicago Cubs infielder Kris Bryant was trashing St. Louis on a social media talk show.
Bryant joined "Friday Night with Ryan Dempster," a late-night style show hosted by the former Cubs pitcher. He was asked about going to a Nelly concert in Las Vegas, the same concert where the St. Louis-born rapper made his pitch to get Bryce harper to sign with St. Louis.

Brebbia was asked about Bryant's comments during his Cardinals Caravan tour. He reportedly said: "Cry me a river, loser" in response to Bryant. But Brebbia has since said the comment was more in jest than trying to attack Bryant.
On the field, Brebbia has had Bryant's number as the Cubs slugger is 0 for 4 with one strikeout in his career against Brebbia.
The first Cubs/Cards series is the first weekend in May, in Chicago. It's shaping up to be a fun one.
