MEMPHIS (KMOX) - The 25 players who will be heading to Milwaukee this week and representing the St. Louis Cardinals on Opening Day has likely been set. Although MLB teams still have some time before final rosters need to be submitted, the Cardinals made announcements on its final position-player and bullpen battles of the spring.

Jedd Gyorko will begin the season on the injured list, meaning both Yairo Munoz and Drew Robinson have roster spots. Pitcher John Brebbia was named to the roster, beating out lefty Tyler Webb and St. Louis-native Tommy Layne who will both be on the Memphis Redbirds roster to start 2019.

Before Thursday's game against the Milwaukee Brewers, St. Louis will face the Redbirds in Memphis, Monday night. That game can be heard online via MLB.com's streaming service at 6:05 p.m. and our Tom Ackerman and Chris Hrabe will be on the call of the game.

The lineups have been set for tonight's game, as Michael Wacha will pitch for the Cardinals and in what's sure to be an interesting matchup, Adam Wainwright is switching teams just for the evening and gets the start for the Redbirds.
