6-year-old boy shot, killed in St. Louis

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Another child has been killed by a gun, this time a 6-year-old in the the 5000 block of South Broadway in St. Louis.

St. Louis Police are not releasing much information. They received the call around 3:15 p.m. and the caller told police the little boy had shot himself.


When Police arrived, the child was already dead. 

Chid abuse services have been called in, which is standard procedure. But homicide was also called in, Maj. Mary Warnecke would not say it was an accidental shooting until autopsy results are back.
