ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Amazon is donating $30,000 to St. Louis Children's Hospital, following the opening of the company's new fulfillment center in St. Peters.
The presentation of the ceremonial big check took place Friday during a special event at the hospital.
"Amazon Goes Gold" is the company's national effort to raise awareness of cancer in children.
More than 20 young cancer patients and their families took part in STEM-related activities and enjoyed ice cream sundaes at Children's on Friday.
