BALLWIN, Mo. (KMOX) - There was no waiting for someone in St. Louis who had a pie emergency during the holiday last week.
Ballwin police say someone snuck into the Honey Baked Ham on Manchester Road on Thanksgiving because they were in "desperate need" for pies.
The person left a note describing their predicament along with a stack of cash on a computer keyboard.
Police shared a photo of the cash and note, which read: "Happy Thanksgiving! No one was here, and we were in desperate need of pies. Left money. Took pies. Thanks!"
