BERKELEY, MO--(KMOX) Mayor Ted Hoskins is in trouble, accused of forgery and harvesting absentee ballots.
Hoskins is charged with five felonies, following an FBI investigation into election fraud.
The indictment accuses Hoskins of a years-long pattern of altering absentee ballots and forging the names of absentee voters to help elect himself and friends to the city council.
If convicted, Hoskins faces possible fines and prison time. Berkeley is located in north St. Louis County, just east of Lambert Airport, with a population of a little under nine thousand residents.
