ST. LOUIS (KMOX) — "90 men in 90 days" — Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri is kicking off its second annual recruiting effort campaign today.

Currently, there are more than 400 boys waiting to be matched with a big brother.

The organization's President and CEO Becky Hatter said in a statement that 80% of the kids on their waiting list are boys who are just waiting for a "big" to talk to, learn from and hang out with.

The local chapter of Big Brothers Big Sisters was founded in 1914 and currently serves more than 1,800 young people.
