LISTEN: Jack Flaherty drafts his all-time best rotation in MLB history on KMOX

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) St. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Jack Flaherty has all been all over social media since the MLB season was postponed with some incredible lists. Sports, pop culture, food, ect... if there's a list being made of something, Flaherty has been asked and likely answered it (just go check out his Twitter for more).

He told our Chris Hrabe that he's basically doing on social what he and his best friends back home do all the time – make lists and debate them. He and Hrabe had a little competition, to see who could draft the best all-time MLB starting rotation (excluding present company).

You can listen to the draft in the audio at the top of this page, just skip to the 24-minute mark in the audio above. Here's how the draft went, with alternating picks and Flaherty going first:

  • Pick No. 1 - Pedro Martinez
  • No. 2 - Greg Maddux
  • No. 3 - Randy Johnson
  • No. 4 - Sandy Koufax
  • No. 5 - Bob Gibson
  • No. 6 - Roger Clemens
  • No. 7 - Clayton Kershaw
  • No. 8 - Nolan Ryan
  • No. 9 - Tom Seaver
  • No. 10 - Steve Carlton

Flaherty also mentioned his injury replacement pitcher would be Max Scherzer.

Here's what the people thought of their rotations, as voted on Hrabe's Twitter poll:

Sorry, Chris, looks like a landslide people's choice for Flaherty's team.
