ST. LOUIS (KMOX) — Downtown St. Louis foodies got word of five shuttered restaurants in one day. Caruso's Deli closed its doors at 1000 Washington Avenue after lunch Wednesday citing COVID-19 troubles. Caruso's had been in business for a decade.

Related: At least 20% of Illinois restaurants 'will never reopen' The St. Louis Business Journal reports the food hall at One Metropolitan Square, called The Eatery, is also closed -- with it go the restaurants Arista Gourmet, Kimcheese, Hiro Poke Co. and Dino's Deli. The USDA is expected to occupy that space when they move in.
