Former Blues goalie Cujo honored to know Jordan Binnington idolized him

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - One of the many hockey legends in St. Louis for the 2020 NHL All-Star Weekend was 19-year NHL goalie Curtis Joesph, who was asked a lot of questions about a young man who has idolized him – Jordan Binnington.

The current Blues and Stanley Cup Champion goalie has previously talked about looking up to Joseph. Binnington grew up a Maple Leafs fan while Joseph was a goalie there. He attended the same goalie school as Joseph and once received a custom Cujo-inspired mask from his dad.

In October, Binnington unveiled a new mask which he called "The Cujo Tribute." Joseph's NHL career began in St. Louis in 1989. He was a three-time All-Star and top-11 finalists for the Vezina trophy three times in his six seasons with St. Louis.
