
ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KMOX)-A St. Louis Police officer was among the five people shot at a large gathering in north St. Louis County late Saturday night. That's according to the Post-Dispatch which reports the officer is in ICU. The Post says the shooting occurred during the annual Normandy High School alumni bonfire off Chambers Rd.
County Police say none of the victims, men ages 28, 31, 44 and 48, and a 31-year-old woman, are in critical condition.
According to police, several hundred people were gathered in a field on Crown Point Dr. off Chambers when a disturbance broke out among several individuals. That led to the shots being fired.
The shooter is not in custody.
