Free COVID-19 testing event in St. Louis happening Monday

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - A free COVID-19 testing site and public safety resource event is happening in St. Louis on Monday. 

From 9 a.m. till noon anyone who would like to be tested can show up. No appointment or doctor’s referral is necessary, according to the release from Board of Aldermen President Lewis Reed and Missouri State Representative Steve Roberts.

It's being held in the parking lot of the Victor Roberts Building located at 1408 N. Kingshighway, St. Louis, MO 63113

Free small bottles of hand sanitizers will be available for those who are in need of it provided by Home State Health. 

Also, there will be free gun locks available and information on a gun safety program called BeSmart for Kids from MOMS Demand Action for Gun Sense in America.

In the surrounding St. Louis area, there are free drive-thru testing sites open now through June 2. Those sites are in St. Charles, Jefferson, Boone, Jackson and other Counties. You can see the full list, here.
