ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - The rules on glove colors for MLB players are stringent. But Kolten Wong put in a lot of "Blood, Sweat and Tears" to earn the new multi-colored mitt that he'll wear this season.

The 2019 Gold Glove Award winner explained to KMOX's Chris Hrabe exactly what went into the design of his glove:
Wong also has "Hawaiian Style" stitched on the side of his glove, as a nod to doing playing the position with his own unique style.
One other new detail is a gold Rawlings patch, which he earned because only Gold Glove winners are allowed to have it on their Rawlings mitt.
