ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - A 10-year-old in St. Louis had a message to share with the maintenance staff at Children's Hospital to thank them for what they're doing during the coronavirus pandemic.

Aidan is the son of an employee in Children's human resources department and not only wanted to practice his penmanship, but also brighten someone’s day.

He chose to write to the Children’s maintenance team who are working hard to “keep the hospital safe during COVID-19.”

Here's what the letter said:

Dear SLCH Maintenance Team.

I’ll introduce myself. My name is Aiden and I’m 10 years old. I go to Christ the King Catholic School. I want to say thank you for keeping the hospital safe during COVID-19. Please make sure you get rest and keep your families safe. I wish you a good week.

Take care.

Sincerely,
Aiden

We're grateful for our incredible caregivers, staff and everyone on the front lines who continue to provide expert care for kids battling illnesses or injuries that don't take breaks in times of crisis.
