Local road crews optimistic they can clear major St. Louis-area roads today

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) — There's optimism among the road crews of MoDOT, IDOT, and St. Louis County that a lot of the snow and slush on the ground today can be cleared away.

Temperatures are expected to reach the mid-30s Tuesday with plenty of sunshine. AccuWeather's Dean DeVore does warn that temperatures are expected to plunge into the teens Tuesday night.
