(KMOX) — Former first lady Michelle Obama has said that she has no interest in running for president, however, a new poll suggests that people would welcome her to the race.
If Obama were to run in the New Hampshire primary, she would be leading the Democratic pack with 26% of the current survey.
Joe Biden and Elizabeth Warren would be in second place at 20%.
The poll was recently conducted featuring 422 likely Democratic primary voters.
"Just between us, and the readers of this magazine—there’s zero chance," she said. "There are so many ways to improve this country and build a better world, and I keep doing plenty of them, from working with young people to helping families lead healthier lives. But sitting behind the desk in the Oval Office will never be one of them. It’s just not for me."
