ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - It's partially because of the fans in St. Louis. Another reason is the Red Jacket club that grows every year. And of course, it's the Clydesdales that can't be replicated.

All that and more is why St. Louis Cardinals manager Mike Shildt says there's no one in baseball that does Opening Day better than the Cardinals.
"It's baseball heaven that we get to experience all season and the playoffs, but (Opening Day) is like the nirvana of baseball heaven," Shildt says. "You show up and first of all, it's the energy that the fans bring ... then the production that the Cardinals put on is second to none."
