(KMOX) — The makers of Monopoly have released a new version with a unique spin that differs from previous editions.
Hasbro’s new “Ms. Monopoly” game is an updated take on the classic board game that allows female players to collect $240 after passing go — 20% more than their male counterparts who will only acquire $200 each round.

September 10, 2019 Jail, luxury tax, and chance cards will still remain the same but instead of buying properties, players will invest in inventions that were discovered by women, such as chocolate chip cookies, bulletproof vests, solar heating and ladies’ modern shapewear. There are a few other modern updates to the game, such as rideshares instead of railroads and Wi-Fi in place of water works.
"Ms. Monopoly" will be available for pre-order starting Tuesday, Sept. 10.
