It stars Nicole Kidman as a religious mother who moves her kids to the English coast during WWII. Her kids are sensitive to light and she's convinced the house is haunted. The film scored a 77% likability rating from audiences on Rotten Tomatoes.
What about in Illinois?
A french movie called "Martyrs" from 2008.
Two girls who are abused get together 15 years later set for revenge on their attackers. It has an audience likability rating of 69% on Rotten Tomatoes.
