ST. LOUIS (KMOX) -  The St. Louis Blues have been saying since the start of the 2019-20 season that "Gloria" was pretty much dead to them, but they apparently didn't venture out of the 80's to find their new victory song.

It's Eddie Murphy's 1985 classic, "Party All the Time."

Blues defenseman Vince Dunn was first asked to recap the story of how Laura Branigan's song became the anthem of St. Louis on last night's video chat with nearly the entire Blues roster. Then hosts Jim Hughson and Kathryn Tappen of the NHL Network wanted to know about this year's song.

"We haven’t really been too focused on it," Dunn says. "It has kind of just been whatever. We didn’t want to carry (Gloria) over from last year. Kind of just left it in the past.

"I think this year it's an Eddie Murphy song, 'Party all the Time.' We have a pretty fun group. We like to have our fun. I think the song kind of reflects on our group a little bit."

During the 30-plus minute video chat, the Blues also talked about sushi dinner's before last year's Stanely Cup games in Boston, goalie Jordan Binnington talked about his training for his challenge with Justin Bieber and what they've been up to since the NHL season ended due to the coronavirus pandemic.
