COLLINSVILLE (KMOX) -- A Collinsville man faces charges after he allegedly tried to fight police officers who were investigating a stolen motorcycle. Police went to Christopher Stufflebean's home New Year's Day -- the motorcycle had been stolen from the neighborhood a couple days prior. Officers found the bike in Stufflebean's bedroom. That's when Stufflebean allegedly attacked. Two officers suffered scrapes, Stufflebean himself suffered a cut to the forehead. He faces two counts of aggravated battery to a police officer, possession of a stolen motor vehicle and resisting arrest. He's being held in the St. Clair County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
