His son and cousins.St. Louis County Police say Mytavis Alexander's relationship with his partner of six years ended Tuesday morning. Tuesday night, he and his former partner met at McDonald's on Parker Road near Lewis and Clark in North St. Louis County to exchange custody of their 3-year-old son, identified as M.A. in a police statement. After she started to drive off with the windows up, police say he tapped on the window with a firearm before firing several shots at the car. It was hit twice and one of the tires was flattened. Alexander's cousin and her two children, both younger than 17, were in the car in addition to his son. Alexander faces the following charges: two counts of first-degree domestic assault, five counts of armed criminal action, three counts of first-degree assault, three counts of endangering the welfare of a child and one count of unlawful use of a weapon.
