ST. LOUIS (KMOX) -- The St. Louis city residents who were being observed for a possible coronavirus infection have completed their two week monitoring period, and they've been cleared. The city's public health director, Dr. Fredrick Echols, tells KMOX the city is ready if anyone else requires observation."This is an ongoing thing, so as international travel continues we do anticipate getting notifications from the state about other individuals who need to be monitored," Echols said.Echols says those who were monitored were self isolated in their homes and checked on daily until being cleared."None of them developed symptoms during the course of their monitoring, so they were essentially cleared and deemed to be non-infectious," Echols said.© 2020 KMOX (Entercom).
