Ernie Isley, the Isley Brothers

Ron and Ernie Isley, the Isley Brothers, grew up in Cincinnati but moved to St. Louis in 1996 (Ron) and 1999 (Ernie).  The brothers sang and recorded songs in the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s and 1980s.  Their hits included “This Old Heart of Mine,” “Shout,” “That Lady,” “It’s Your Thing,” “Between the Sheets,” and “Fight the Power.”  They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1992.
