ST. LOUIS (KMOX) -- After filling the lower bowl in each of their first two home games, the St. Louis BattleHawks are getting closer to opening the Dome at America's Center's upper bowl for the next home game, in three weeks.
Team President Kurt Hunzeker says they started mapping out the process after the home opener."With the additional time, I think we'll be able to come together and find a pretty cool solution to getting more fans into the dome and hopefully make the place even louder and more formidable for opponents," Hunzeker told KMOX's Tom Ackerman on Sports on a Sunday.
The BattleHawks host the Los Angels Wildcats March 21.
Hunzeker tells Sports on a Sunday Morning the challenge will opening enough seating, while still creating the experience they want to deliver."How do we now as the team, and the dome, look at the additional 300 Level, the 400 Loge, the upper 400 Level and create an experience that still delivers?"
