St. Louis has spent over $2.2 million on gloves, masks, supplies for coronavirus

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Medical masks, gloves, protective overalls, COVID-19 test kids and cleaning supplies are among the many expenses the City of St. Louis is reporting due to the coronavirus pandemic. The total bill through April 12 is $2,285,513.75. 

Some of the largest single expenses on the report include $1,243,000 for 220,000 NH-95 masks, $498,500 for 10,00 protective coveralls and $90,000 for 20,000 COVID-19 test kits. The city's expense for various sizes and types of protective gloves has cost a total of $170,212.31.
