ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department thanked both its officers and the folks at Stray Rescue of St. Louis for helping a dog safely get off a highway in downtown.
Police didn't say exactly where or when this happened, but judging by the video that was shared it looks to be on Interstate-70 just north of downtown on Wednesday afternoon.
Police say, "Thanks to our Traffic officer who made sure that the pup & @strayrescuestl were able to get off the highway safely!"
A police cruiser was blocking the the right lane of traffic in the express lanes of I-70, as the dog was walked away by a member Stray Rescue.
