(KMOX) - The U.S. Navy Blue Angels and U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds flew over a number of East Coast cities on Tuesday and over the next couple weeks will make their way across the nation for more performances. They're fly to say "Thank You" to health care workers and first responders on the front lines of the fight against COVID-19.
New York City, Trenton, New Jersey and Philadelphia were the first cities to witness the flyovers
The elite military demonstration squadrons are expected to be seen over Chicago, Indianapolis, Austin, Texas and a number of other cities next.
