MARTHASVILLE, Mo. (KMOX) - A car rolled into a pond in southern Warren County near Marthasville, with several people inside.
That's the call first-responders got Saturday afternoon before five.
When they arrived, the car was submerging and some of the occupants were fighting to get out.
The Metro-West Fire Department dive team arrived on scene and removed one person from the car. That person did not survive.
Firefighters say another victim was transported to a hospital in Washington, Missouri for treatment.
Agencies assisting Marthasville firefighters at the scene included the Warren County Sheriff's Department, Warren County & Marthasville Ambulance, Missouri State Highway Patrol, and Warrenton Fire Department.
