ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) — Fox 2 and KPLR 11 are back on Spectrum cable.
Tribune Broadcasting and Charter Communications reached a deal Friday morning, ending a contract stalemate that started January 2nd.
The two companies were in a dispute over "retransmission fees". Terms of the settlement weren't disclosed.
This also means WGN America and other Tribune stations are now back on Spectrum cable nationwide.
The companies made a joint statement regarding the agreement:
“We are pleased to have reached this agreement that will return Tribune Broadcasting’s local television stations and WGN America to Spectrum customers and Tribune’s viewers.”
A further stalemate would have prevented many St. Louis customers from watching NFL playoff games this weekend.
